Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, flexible Employment Type: Travel Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Location New York, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3 x 12 hour shifts primarily during the day with some late-night, holidays, on-call as needed. No weekends required at this time. Job Description An Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN) performs diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and assists during interventions, such as electrocardiograms, in a clinical setting. The EP RN is responsible for preparing patients for procedures, ensuring all equipment and instrumentation is operational, and monitoring read-outs during procedures. They will assist with lab analysis and assist physicians with the implementation of pacing devices and other cardiac health-related procedures. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for electrophysiological studies and ablations as the circulator. Maintain the sterile field and assist Anesthesia while documenting during studies and ablations. Provide backup pacing during implant procedures. Communicate effectively with medical doctors and in-room staff to ensure the availability of all necessary equipment and supplies. Facilitate room turnover and timely patient care in coordination with the Charge Nurse and third-party vendors. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active New York State Registered Nurse License. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical electrophysiology setting.
