Job Details — Cath Lab RN / Travel RN Location: Ocala, Florida 34471 (Ocala, FL travel nursing, Central Florida) Facility Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab Employment Type: Travel RN (W2) Start Date: January 12, 2026 End Date: April 13, 2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 4 ten hour shifts with rotating call Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800 - $1890 Required Qualifications — Cath Lab Registered Nurse Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or Compact State (Florida nursing license accepted) RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab / cardiac cath lab experience Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred Ability to float to nearby sister hospital for STEMI call coverage Comfortable wearing provided OR scrubs Key Responsibilities — Cardiac Nursing / Cath Lab Provide pre- and post-procedural recovery care for cardiac catheterization patients Assist with diagnostic and interventional right and left heart catheterizations Perform peripheral diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Operate and monitor advanced cardiac equipment: GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS Document procedures accurately using Merge Hemo system Participate in rotating call schedule and respond to STEMI cases as needed Maintain a safe, sterile environment and comply with hospital policies Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care Why Ocala?
