The Charge Registered Nurse participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Aligned with Nursing Unit Leadership, the Charge Nurse coordinates the delivery of nursing care and provides leadership by working cooperatively with medical, ancillary and support staff in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Education Required : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred : Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree). Experience Required: 1 year of RN experience. Certifications Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS.
