This role requires the nurse advocate for patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, evaluation, documentation and time management. Position Overview Permanent, full-time role Start date: ASAP Level II Trauma Center environment Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Shift Details 06:30-17:00 Every other weekend required 40 hours per week Compensation & Incentives Pay range: $44.24 – $54.24 per hour (based on experience) Shift differentials if applicable Eligible for up to $20,000 sign-on bonus Relocation assistance available up to $7,500 Complete benefits package available Key Responsibilities Assist in patient positioning and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout all phases of surgery Maintain strict sterile technique and enforce aseptic standards Handle and manage surgical specimens accurately Operate and monitor surgical equipment including surgical beds, electrocautery, suction devices, video systems, positioning devices, and point-of-care testing equipment Monitor surgical equipment to ensure proper function throughout procedures Maintain accurate and complete documentation in EPIC Perform surgical counts pre- and post-procedure to ensure patient safety Etc.
