Job Summary Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for patients served in the clinical areas noted below. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Completion of an accredited nursing program Preferred Associate's degree in Nursing Bachelor's degree in Nursing Experience: Preferred Two or more years of experience in Nursing ED Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to practice in the State of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Must obtain within one (1) year of start date Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification Must obtain within one (1) year of start date Pediatric Advances Life Support (PALS) OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Certification Must obtain within one (1) year of start date Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Must obtain within one (1) year of start date Preferred: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Certification
