Nursing Educator (RN) - Full-Time Days, 7a-3p, Operating Room, Hackettstown Medical Center

Oversees and provides educational needs of the Peri-Operative areas. 

1. Coordinates new employee orientation.
2. Develops clinical orientation pathway and timeline. 
3. Mentors and monitors progress of new and existing employees.  Provides feedback in a constructive way. 
4. Maintains documentation of TM education records including competencies, progress, and goal setting.
5. Provides ongoing development/continuing education. 
6. Uses a multi-disciplinary approach to foster inclusivity. 
7. Completes introductory evaluations in a timely fashion. 
8. Adheres to policy and procedure and acts as a resource for team members.
9. Actively participates in local and system education initiatives, peri-op fellowship program and policy development following AORN standards.

1. BSN Required 
2. BLS Required  
3. CNOR Required
4. Valid New Jersey Nursing License                                                                                                                                                                                                                                5. 5 years current OR clinical experience 

Preferred: 
1. Master's Degree Preferred
2. OR Education strongly preferred
