We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Med Surg Tele Travel RN to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' of experience in surgical unit
- Prior experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Surgical drains, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH
- MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
Preferred Experience
- Titrate cardiac drips
- Titrate vasoactive drips
- Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
Job Details
- Combination acuity unit: Adult medical surgical and surgical stepdown
- Ratios: 1:6 for floor for surgical/medicine inpatient
- 12-hour nights, 36 or 48 hours accepted, every other weekend required
- Floating required when needed to like units
- Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
- 2 Days of hospital orientation, 24 hours of floor training
- Scrubs: all Navy or navy on bottom/white Top
Patient Diagnoses
- Wide range of patient diagnoses that have had or plan to have surgery or involved in a trauma:
- Cellulitis, Appendicitis, Cholecystitis, Diverticulitis, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Gun Shots, Stabbings, Falls, Various Cancers, Kidney Stones, Bowel Obstruction, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Limb Ischemia, Hernia, Gangrene

- NG tube/Corpak
- JP Drains
- Hemovac Drains,
- Penrose Drains
Compensation: $1,550.00 - $1,800.00 per week
