Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $54 per hour

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds :12 · Documentation system: CPN, Meditach · Scheduling requirements:3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNS, 2 call shifts for techs, 3 12 hour shifts · Floating policy: travelers float first · Patient Experience requirements: shared decision making Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: For RNs—NRP, ACLS, BLS, must have AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM—OR techs must have FA certification. Must have : 2 years L&D experience Advanced skills needed: RNs—Care of the laboring patient, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, circulate and recover c/s patients Procedures performed on unit: vaginal deliveries, c/sections, d&c, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, tub labor, Certifications Required: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced), or CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP Resource pool, per diem, and travel assignments available as well
