Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract ICU Registered Nurse – Float Pool (Day Shift) Location: Los Angeles, CA Department: ICU – Float Pool Contract Type: 13‑Week Assignment Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 12‑hour shifts Responsibilities Provide advanced critical care to ICU patients across multiple units Float throughout the hospital’s ICU system as needed Manage ventilators, titrate critical drips, and perform continuous cardiac monitoring Conduct head‑to‑toe assessments and implement care plans Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary teams Follow emergency procedures, fire‑safety protocols, and hospital-specific guidelines Document care and assessments accurately within the facility EMR Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards Required Qualifications Active RN license (state of practice) 3 years of ICU nursing experience (required) Must have worked in ICU within the last 3 months ACLS – AHA (Required) BLS – AHA (Required) Hospital Fire & Life Safety (HLFS) certification (Required) BSN preferred Acute‑care hospital experience preferred About Hanker Systems Inc Healthcare staffing at Hanker Systems Inc is focused on delivering the right talent to support quality patient care.
