St. David’s HealthCare is seeking a full-time program director to assist with leading and developing a new Internal Medicine residency program in Austin, TX. Qualified Candidates:  • Must possess current certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM) • Experience must include specialty expertise and at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience, preferably in an undergraduate and/or graduate medical education environment • Experience must include ongoing clinical activity • Be willing to combine administrative and didactic (teaching) responsibilities • Have strong administrative and team building skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Candidates with recent scholarly activity – such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educational organizations – are highly encouraged to apply Incentive/Benefits Package:  • Competitive salary  • HCA/St. David's Healthcare employed position • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and 401k with matching • CME and dues allowance
