Health WoRx at Weller is currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team in supporting our associates’ and their families health and wellness needs. Location: Health WoRx at Weller Truck Parts facility at 5860 Burlingame Ave SW, Wyoming, MI Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM; no weekends or on-call *Please note: The hired candidate will be required to go to our Jasper, Indiana headquarters facility for a minimum of two weeks for training. Transportation and housing will be provided while training in Jasper. What you’ll do: See patients for acute, episodic, chronic wellness and work-related injuries/illnesses, as well as other services offered; support these efforts primarily at the Weller Truck Campus located at 1500 Gezon Parkway SW, Wyoming. Conduct Telemedicine Appointments for facilities located in Indiana and Missouri. Perform outreach and educational services, including coaching on overall health of individuals, health risks, and diseases, offering options to address, and assistance with a plan and support. Crosstrain to fill in for labs and nursing tasks as needed Research, prepare, and deliver educational presentations Conduct wellness screenings and school programs Maintain appropriate records, reviewing with the collaborative physician as necessary, and making referrals Evaluate procedures, data, and processes to ensure the most appropriate and effective care is offered and/or provided Maintain the utmost confidentiality, respect for the individual, and quality of care Be a dependable, contributing member of a great team! What it takes: Valid licensing for Family Nurse Practitioner, including ability to dispense medications (no narcotics on site) Familiarity with electronic medical records, dictation, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred Excellent interpersonal communication skills Prior experience a plus
