Clinical Medical Assistant

JOB TITLE:  Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA)

DEPARTMENT: Integrated Health Services

FLSA: Full-Time; Hourly/Non-Exempt

DURATION: OPEN Until Filled

HIRING RANGE: $16.00/hour to $20.00 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Join our healthcare team as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), where you’ll support providers and deliver quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Perform patient triage

·       Obtain lab specimens, administer injections, and draw blood

·       Conduct routine medical tests

·       Provide patient education and coordinate referral appointments

·       Maintain patient records and assist with administrative tasks

·       Answer calls and direct inquiries appropriately

·       Perform light housekeeping duties

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)

·       Current CPR/BLS certification (required)

·       Certification demonstrating competency across all age groups

·       Knowledge of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

·       Strong communication (oral & written)

·       Excellent organization and computer skills

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality
